Shay Mahady is a Case Manager and Mental Health Professional with experience supporting individuals navigating behavioral health challenges, reentry, and recovery. She holds a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and expanded her global perspective on mental health through a study abroad program in psychology.

At Self-Theory, Shay works with justice-involved and high-risk populations, providing comprehensive case management services that include crisis intervention, care coordination, and life skills support. She collaborates closely with outreach teams to promote community reintegration, stability, and holistic well-being.

Her professional background includes serving as a Forensic Support Specialist at a treatment center and working alongside organizations that support survivors of domestic violence and family reunification.

Shay is passionate about trauma-informed, client-centered care. She is dedicated to helping individuals find stability, access critical resources, and build pathways to lasting success.
